During this week, you will have ample opportunity to “boost” a healthy lifestyle.
The week is packed with practical information that can be applied immediately. There is attention to both physical and mental health and learning patterns to be able to hold on to it.
Hugo and Lisette are both specialists in the field of exercise (sportsteachers and ran their own private school in sports). In addition, Lisette is trained as a nurse. Health in a broad sense has always been their passion.

Our accommodation is off-grid and is located in the middle of the mountains of Andalusia, in southern Spain, at an altitude of 1000 meters. This environment and hanging out with like-minded people make learning and applying healthy patterns more accessible. This is also the place where Barbara O'Neill has enjoyed hosting a health retreat 2 times already: review Barbara O'Neill about the campsite and the team. Daily lectures are tailored to the participants. Topics, which are covered are: the influence of nutrition, exercise, sun, water, sleep, clean air, confidence and moderation.

There is the possibility of preparing delicious meals together and under supervision. We also use the fruits and vegetables from our grounds' vegetable garden in the process. The vegetable garden also hosts workshops, which deal with the process of growing your own food and harvesting food from your own garden.
Since exercise has a great impact on health, exercise activities are added to the program to suit the needs of the participants. Price: € 700 per person
This price includes accommodation, all meals, workshops, movement activities and lectures.
It may be necessary for participants to share an accommodation (tent or caravan) with someone else. This depends on the number of participants.
For participation as a family we charge a different price. Please ask us about this.

Camping Palomera is located in the Sierra de las Villas, in Andalusia (southern Spain). Participants traveling by plane can fly to Madrid, Granada, Seville, Allicante or Malaga. From the airport, there is the option to rent a car, go by bus (Alsa or another bus company) or travel by blablacars, for example.

Outdoor/Hiking Week

A week of outdoor and hikingactivities in the mountains of Andalusia. For anyone who loves an active vacation in nature.
Our base camp for this week is our campsite in the south of Spain, located in the Sierra de las Villas in Andalusia. Our site, of 80 hectares is located in the middle of the mountains, at an altitude of 1000 meters and directly against 230.000 hectares of national park. The environment is quiet, lovely and rugged at the same time.
On our own property many activities are already possible, such as climbing and abseiling, team activities, trail running, a 4x4 trip and much more. Both on our property, and in the immediate surroundings, we can mountain bike and hike.
In this region we have no light pollution, which makes the starry skies here overwhelmingly beautiful.
The natural park is rich in lots of “wildlife”, such as deer, ibex, wild boar and many birds of prey, including the largest colony of griffon vultures in Europe. During the activities, therefore, there is a good chance that we will see “wildlife”.
There are no specific fitness requirements. We can adapt the activities for each participant. Of course it is nice for yourself if you are fit.
Eating together, bible study and making music is also part of this week.

Youth Week

Our base camp for this week is our campsite in southern Spain, located in the Sierra de las Villas, in Andalusia. Our site, of 80 acres is located in the middle of the mountains, at 1000 meters altitude and directly against 230.000 hectares of national park. The environment is peaceful, lovely and rugged at the same time. A perfect environment to experience more of God's creation. The grounds offer the opportunity to do all kinds of sports and games activities. The program will also include outdoor activities such as climbing, abseiling and hiking.
In this region we have no light pollution, which makes the starry sky here overwhelmingly beautiful. The nature park is also rich in wildlife, such as deer, ibex, wild boar and many birds of prey, including the largest colony of griffon vultures in Europe. Therefore, during the activities there is a great chance that we will see “wildlife”.
During this week we will make music together, share bible stories and do all kinds of great activities. Food will be prepared in the general kitchen at the campsite.

Off grid experience week

Have you always wanted to experience what off grid living can be like? Would you like to spend a week with us and see how beautiful it is to live in the middle of nature?

We live on 80 acres of land in the mountains of Andalusia. The water here comes from the mountain and the energy we use is mostly from solar power. We grow fruits and vegetables organically and experience luxury in off grid living here. We would like to show people how everything works here and especially learn which principles are important in off grid living. Of course we will also explore the area with hikes and other activities.

Cancellation Policy 2025:
If the cancellation is made 30 days before the reservation date, the campground will return 100% of the amount paid.
If cancellation is made between 7 and 30 days before the reservation date, 50% of the total amount due will be charged. You will not receive the 50% reservation fee back.
If cancelled 7 days before the reservation date, the campsite will not refund any amount.
